Awards and Grants

Poster Awards


The scientific contributions presented and discussed as posters during four Poster Sessions have been reviewed by an international panel under the supervision of Prof. Jacques Crommen, University of Liege, Belgium. The jury has selected ten nominations and from these, three award winning posters. This appreciation of the scientific contributions has been made possible thanks to a generous endowment of Agilent Technologies.

Young Scientist Award


Oral presentations by PhD students have been reviewed by an international panel headed by 
Prof. Jean-Luc Veuthey, University of Geneva , Switzerland to select two award winning papers. The presentations have been dispersed in the regular oral program as well presented in a dedicated session on Wednesday afternoon, January 25. The appreciation of these contributions has been made possible thanks to a generous endowment of Waters Corporation.

Travel Grants


The local organization committee has investigated the allocation of resources for providing financial support for (academic) participants in particular from Eastern Europe and the Russian Federation, Asia, Middle and South America and Africa to participate in MSB'2006. Candidates have submitted their request, an abstract for poster or oral presentation and a supporting letter from their department head.
